Dr. Thanos Mitrelias

Dr Mitrelias has 14+ years of entrepreneurial experience and has been creating and identifying several opportunities in business, science and finance throughout his career. He has attracted significant funding, has established many collaborations and has wide scientific expertise in biotechnology, physics and nanoscience. He has been at the University of Cambridge since 1994, where he gained his PhD in Physical Chemistry. He has been a Marie Curie Fellow, editor in scientific books, published extensively and has been invited chairman/speaker in a variety of events including at the House of Commons in London. He holds a BA in Physics, an MSc (Eng) with Distinction in Materials Science and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Cambridge
Dr Theodossis Trypiniotis
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr Trypiniotis has extensive experience in spin electronics, magnetic tagging, and nanomagnetics and has wide scientific expertise in physics and nanotechnology. He has been at the Cavendish laboratory since 1998, where he gained his PhD in Physics. Throughout his career he initiated several collaborations attracting significant funding for various projects. Recently, he has been a Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science. He has published extensively including three patents. During his time in Cambridge he has actively participated in the entrepreneurial community of the University. He holds a PhD, BA and MSci in Natural Sciences (Physics) all from the University of Cambridge.
